Flaky charge port door after latest upgrade?

I sent a bug report through voice command 2 weeks ago and now this morning the issue stopped. The car started at the T logo as if the MCU was reset. It's possible they sent my car a pushed OTA update. I'm still on the same version of SW but we don't have visibility to sub revisions.

Noticing that mine is sporadic now, 50/50 using the screen to open it, twice it closes suddenly and twice it stayed opened. It still closes fast everytime, but that part never bothered me.

Just got 2021.44.6 and still have the same issues as the last version. I was hoping this was going to fix it but no dice

Charge port door has been working normally again on my 2019 Model 3 SR+ since updating to 2021.44.25.2 on Dec. 24.

I have 44.25.2 and the open/shut issue is fixed but the quick close when pulling out is not fixed. I hate when I have to pull out really quick.

Mine seems to not close completely now. Like only closes 95% of the way.

I consider it fixed with 44.25.2. Rather than instantly closing and hitting the charge wand, it now closes about 1.5 seconds later. Car used to wait ~5 seconds before closing charge port.

Old thread but this issue has been fully resolved in 2022.4.5.1. The charge port now takes a few seconds to close after unplugging the charge cable.
