It happened. Doesn't look like a full length flat floor but it at least folds flat.
Interesting. Only the 5 seater, a bench and also the middle seat headrest is smaller.
Might be due to the cupholder/AC console.
This is an interesting pivot and makes one wonder why the seven seater doesn't have this option.
A lot of new stuff coming out tonight. P90D gone, new seating, new all-glasss roof on S.
Model S now has glass roof option..
I can't find the update anywhere! Where exactly is it?
It's on the design studio page. The animation gif is gone though. But here's a screenshot from before:
And this is the new image with the correct thumbnail (see the middle seat is different).
And of course the big interior image on top:
Wow all this ne stuff and no tweets from elon
Looks like the bench seats won't be as comfy as the 6 seater
Too early to say. They do recline separately and I suppose the angle of adjustment is much greater than the 6/7 seaters?
the middle seat has a much lower headrest too. Great for visibility.
Sanity prevails; using the non-folding & very complex monopost "sculptural" seats made zero sense without a 3rd row. Nice job, Tesla.
Of course, I still wish we had what we were originally promised with the 7 seat...
He forgot he had left his phone in the pocket of his velvet jacket that went to the cleaners just before the Tesla Solar Roof announcement. That also explains why he wasn't wearing his lucky jacket when he was presenting on stage at Universal Studios.
Really, I thought the moonpost seats are better. I thought these beach seats would be like a Model S
Cancel that thought. With a bench seat, there's probably no easy way to access the 3rd row.
Should be pay more? There you go, thank you! Finally..what I have been trying to convince will happen for a while now,..has happened. Hope it will works very well and no more troubles. My seat is unfold-able which was delivered July 2016.
Would have to resort to what the Q7 has which isn't exactly elegant.
So 6 seater doesn't fold flat even though picture shows that?
All I had to do is order a model X for all the options I wanted to come out. 2.0, folding back seat, 100 battery.
New orders should thank me.
It kind of looks like they're still on a monopod but we can't get a great look at it. If they are on a monopod, does that mean they still have a motorized movement for rear access? If they could work this out, I wouldn't be surprised to see this in a 7 seater config.
They aren't. (At least how I see it)
