Flat tyre - the Mobile app could send alert

Monday morning - out to car - got a flat

no spare
no inflation kit (as standard) ... and actually in this case no repair possible as large piece of flint had cut it too badly.

now why couldn't the App have told me the tyre was flat on Friday night/Saturday as it surely was?
I could easily have sorted it over the weekend and not had my working week disrupted.

I believe the sensors turn off when not moving.
So what you are suggesting would require a redesign of the sensors to have them activate more often dramatically reducing battery life and having the TPMS module peridically wake to poll them increasing vampire drain.
