flaw in driver only unlock

I have the driver only unlock set. A passenger recently discovered that the passenger door is unlocked when I walk to the driver's side if I have not yet opened my door. If the passenger waits until I have opened my door then the passenger door doesn't open. I tested this at home and was able to recreate it. Would someone else try it and see if you get the same results? I am on 2022.12.3.2

Do you agree that what my friend found isn't what you would expect?
Here is what it says in the owner's manual:

Driver Door Unlock Mode​

Enabling Controls > Locks > Driver Door Unlock Mode only unlocks the driver door when you first unlock Model 3.

I’m having this same problem. Even when I open the driver side door first, or even lock and unlock from the app I cannot open the other doors. I think there should be an app update to open all the doors… like a double tap unlock feature.

Agree. This nonsense was obnoxious enough that I disabled Driver Door Unlock Mode. It'd be nice if it were more logical.

They fixed my complaint in 2022.40.4. I don't believe that the unlock from the app has been addressed but at least now you can unlock the rest from the driver's door and not have to lean in to the screen.
