Flickering roads on nav screen at night?

I noticed an odd thing tonight while looking at the nav map. Major roads that ran horizontal, depicted in green, tended to flicker in the night mode. It seemed that the flickering increased with speeds. When stopped at a light, there was no flickering.

Has anyone noticed this behavior with their nav screen in night mode?
