Floor Mats Excluded in Delivery

Hey all,

I took delivery of my Tesla Model S LR on Saturday September 4th. I was told that they couldn't put in floor mats because of a supply chain issue and would contact me when they were ready.

Does anyone have pictures of what the mats are supposed to look like? I saw some super nice mats on the Tesla website for $180, are they gonna be those? If not do you think Tesla would offer the website ones as a replacement since I did not get them upon delivery?

They're just basic carpet mats. And no, you won't get the ones on the site as a replacement., those are the Weathertech re-brand winter mats. They're nice mats, though - I have a set I bought.

Those are the rubber all weather floor mats and they do not come with the car. You will get the standard cloth mats.

Tesla will very likely not give you anything for free. Even if you have bee inconvenienced.

You're on the lucky side - I took delivery of my Model S LR on 9/14 in mount disco and it had no floor mats, no cargo cover, and no hatch privacy shield. Zero communication from Tesla that these would be missing or that there's a plan to remediate.

I made a service appointment to have them deliver the standard mats since the Tesla Weather Mats dont include anything for the trunk. I did not know about the privacy shield, i'm assuming mine came with it since they did not mention it missing - but what is it?

It covers the back trunk to keep stuff stored there out of sight.

I picked up my Plaid today from Mt. Kisco and it wasn't missing anything. With that being said, my delivery specialist or whatever you want to call them was quite shocked it had everything!

Still waiting for Tesla mats and cargo cover. Service to deliver to me 12/20 but delayed once already.
