Somebody I know on another list got these custom made from Model 3 | ForMyTesla.com
This is likely where I will be ordering mine. Of course, mine will be with red edging and embroidery and will say Model 3. ;)

For the 3D Maxpider, do people suggest getting black? I like the gray one but I'm afraid it will get dirty quickly considering it is your shoes.

There currently isn't any color other than Black in mat offered for the Model 3. The other color choices pertain to Model S and Model X mats. So Black it is! Easy decision!!

Hopefully will get a ship notice later today from PartCatalog on our order.

I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder. Personally I like the refined texture of the 3D Maxpider Kagu mats over the TuxMats ridged/bumped surface or what I've seen of WeatherTech's all-weather ridged mats. We have the Kagu already in our Model S which I consider a luxury sedan and don't think the TuxMats or WeatherTech impart a luxury look and inspite of the TuxMats' leather grain look. Another thing I like about the Kagu is the fact that when your seated and put your feet down you're on a firm surface without any noticeable ridges for your heel to go into.

As for cleaning I will say that the material that is used in the Kagu mats brushes out and/or hoses down nicely without stuff getting trapped in the "carbon fiber" texture. The TuxMats look like they have a fine grained texture embossed on them and would be interested to hear how dirt and dried liquids come off of it during cleaning. I know people who bought the WeatherTech mats for their Model S had a hard time getting them to not look dirty or muddied even after scrubbing them. (photos on a thread on the MS forum).

One other thing I like about the Kagu is that the bottom has this velcro-like texture to it and they stay in place very well with no need for holes in it for anchoring.
