A little backstory so you guys know where I'm coming from. I used to work for a personal transportation company here in cincinnati that is all Tesla. We had a falling out, and I don't have access to the cars anymore. Anyway, that's besides the point. I need some help. While I worked there, I got an idea for a web based Flux capacitor for the car. I put together a gif, and threw it up on one of the websites I manage. So.... Can some of you guys do me a favor, and go to flatroof.com/tesla in your car. I would like a screen shot of what it looks like in car... (since it's animated, a video might help too.) Thanks to anyone who can help me out. Nick
Love the idea of the flux capacitor in the car. I've seen something like this before, digging.... I got quite a few double-takes today
I once saw an animated Google doodle move, but that's the only thing I've ever seen move in the browser.
Does anyone know what they do to display the radar images, because that does work. Guess doing a movie would be too hard to watch, but maybe for other things if it is some type of html...
Very nice, I really could have used this yesterday when I was shuttling 6, 10-11 year olds around after a birthday party. One of the kids knew about the Flux capacitor, but the web site that I had bookmarked in the car is no longer active (http://www.gumbas.com/flux2.html).
Jason, I pretty sure that the weather display uses a method too slow to support smooth video which also lacks sound. Not promising.
I found this image for a quick and dirty Back to the Future reference. Thought it would be cool to format specifically for a Tesla half-screen and dynamically update the times and dates with JavaScript. Just haven't found the time.
All these efforts to turn our beloved Teslas into a Delorean. I couldn't get my surveillance camera video to load in Tesla browser. What kind of camera system do you have?
That's my car! Thanks for posting the video so I didn't have to go dig it out. I sold my Delorean to buy the Model S, so before selling, I moved the Flux Capacitor into the Tesla.
