FM Antenna connection for Digital Tuner on 2017 MX

I had the upgrade performed to get the MCU2 and subsequent Digital FM Antenna. I want to install an aftermarket XM Tuner which comes with their FM Modulator. I've seen posts on various sites that seem to conflict with the best place to insert the FM Modulator into the Antenna connection line. Can anyone tell me for certain where the FM Antenna Amplifier is? I'm trying to determine if I should insert the modulator into the antenna line in the liftgate or the driver side dash.

When I looked in Tesla parts catalog for my 2017 S, FM amplifier is in the hatch area.

Cable from amplifier plugs into radio behind a trim piece near the driver’s left ankle. Once you find the diagnostic plug connector under the dash you’re in the right neighborhood.

Do you have the ability to utilize the SiriusXM mobile app and stream your music instead? The sound quality will be much better than going through an FM modulator.

Thanks @NickFie. That's exactly what I needed to know.

@RGloverii I'm in areas with weak cell reception at times and I want easier access to change stations than having to fumble with my phone. Handsfree laws aren't very forgiving in trying to differentiate between changing media or making calls.
