Fob not recognized...

I was at the charging station and went back in the car, which had a message on centre screen that key was not inside car, could not start vehicle. Went outside, it would lock and unlock doors, but still would not allow me to use vehicle. Has anyone had this warning or problem? After a few minutes of going in and out of the car, it finally went away and allowed me to drive.

Is it possible the battery to the fob is significantly low?

the battery is fine and I was holding it in my hand....I heard that with new software sometimes the fobs need to be reprogrammed...is that correct?

I've been getting new software since September 2014. There has never been any effect on fob operation.

I had both of them in the car (and in my hand at the same time) and I am a new owner of a used S85, so quite new to all of this (many thanks)...is there a way to set up each fob for different user/profile? Can or do they ever get "confused" when together?
