The final cut of the 9th episode of the Tesla Motors Club Podcast, featuring Chad Schwitters, the former president of Plug In America, is now available. You can watch it now on YouTube or listen to it on all major podcast networks.
When I fold my middle seats down, especially in the cold, the tracks would make a squeaking noise. Does anyone know if Tesla will cover that under warranty or do I have to spray it with some grease myself?
I would be very careful spraying any lube on a seat track. You don't want unintended movement. Make sure tracks are completely clean and maybe a light wipe with lithium grease and immediate removal of excess. I used to clean the seat tracks in my plane every 6 months or so this way.

be careful lubricating the tracks so you don't get lube on the carpet or parts of the seat you care about. zero concern about unintended movement. if your seat moves after lubricating the track unintentionally you have bigger issues lol
