Even better, you get T-boned at an intersection and the police report says you've got a few take out orders and you were driving for a delivery service while you're being rushed off to hospital and getting your claims denied.
So what the additional cost of insurrance you will get for transporting goods, not passengers?

Note: You also need to consider the additional mileage that you will get, if you have a car lease,
or if you car insurrance is based on your mileage.

IMO, Uber is a scam to take advantage of people that don't have other work. No benefits, you pay taxes later on that reduce what appears to be fair money, and your car gets chewed up meanwhile Uber takes half for doing not much of anything but provide a web service. At least a real taxi company maintains the vehicles and buys fuel so you aren't out your own personal assets. I wish I would have thought of it. :D

Uber operates at a loss. The people who work for Uber corporate has a minimum salary of around $75,000 per year.

Middle management makes over $200,000.

This is before generous fringe benefit packages.

I don’t think any of those employees are compensation sharing with the drivers despite probably being very socialistic given geography.

Despite the pay disparity, many are grateful for the opportunity to work through Uber and no one is forced to work for the service.

It's usually based on risk and mileage, like normal premiums. Using the vehicle for work changes the risk profile, so you're typically put in a different risk pool.

Transporting goods has low probability of being caught and high probability of plausible deniability in the event of any incidents.

Model 3 is not leased. All insurance accounts for miles but the relationship between premium and miles driven is not linear.

With free supercharging, unlimited, or even 6 months you can generate income if your opportunity cost is low.
