For P3D+ owners, is there tire wear if you mash the pedal?

Do you burn a lot of tire rubber or wear it out if you mash the pedal at every stoplight/stop sign? Curious, cause I have a habit of doing so

Certainly. You don't have to severely slip or "burn rubber" to wear down tires quickly. Hard braking, cornering, and, yes, hard acceleration all contribute to tire wear.
