I am interested and in California as well. Can you confirm the unlimited supercharger is transferable?

It was actually April of 2017 that Tesla made that change, so cars purchased prior to that have the transferable free charging.
Car had to be ordered before 1/14/2017 and delivered prior to April both to get transferrable FUSC. This car was delivered in September so I'm not sure why a conversation about the order date is even necessary as it's already not going to have it.

Not sure why am getting into this but, my 2016.5 P100D did not have transferable super charging, surprised me for sure.

If there was a flow chart, the mfg year/delivery date is the most important factor. Next, is whether or not the car was ever back in Tesla's possession. If the dates are within range AND Tesla has never taken possession of the vehicle, because it was tied to the VIN, FUSC should transfer.

I do know mine was back at tesla and sold my under Tesla’s old cpo program, so that could be it

Yeah, they'll strip the feature on trades or whatever.

What's up for debate is whether or not third party dealers are being stripped.

My prior P90D was a Tesla CPO purchase from the previous owner and FUSC transferred between him and I and the now, new owner. As they say, your mileage may vary.

How do you guys know this regarding FUSC transferability? I have read this a few times on this forum, but have not been able to find anything in writing from Tesla. My understanding was that it was hit and miss whether or not Tesla would transfer the FUSC when the vehicle was sold from person to another without an intermediary.

Not trying to start a flame-war or prove how correct I could be; just want to have some facts here as I also have a FUSC Model S for sale. Regarding transferability, I tend to put responsibility on the buyer as part of due diligence though I would like to know the letter of the law myself.
