Uhhh... you might want to check prices for new Model 3s at the moment. But GLWS.
I paid a lot more than I am asking after taxes. Tesla just lowered their prices. Folks can order a new car and wait for it or get one now gently used with PPF, charger and 3D mats. I had to wait almost 6 months for my Tesla. PS Tesla is not offering my particular model at the moment. You can only order a performance or model Y.

You're close to $20k too high! Better off just keeping the car and enjoying it.
In fairness, he does say “OBO”. I’d be interested at $35k in your anywhere near California. Just know I would rename her “Blanca”.

Not sure it makes too much sense to offer more given all the credits and rebates going around right now and the ability to scoop up a new M3P for a few grand more.

But would love to be able to take advantage of the rebate pricing without having to deal with the hassle of the actual rebates.

It's a free market, sellers are free to ask what they want.

Of course, for a speedy sale, selling at or below market prices helps.

Glws for a well cared for model 3.
Thank you 😊 My asking price is what I paid for the car plus accessories. PPF was not cheap, $1500 😖 but necessary on a Tesla. I’m eating the taxes which were $4800+ When you purchase a used car private party, correct me if I’m wrong, you do not pay sales tax.

Depends on the state, alot of states require sales tax on a used car.

Unfortunately what you paid for the car and all the extras are not really a factor in pricing of used cars. It's really around what the market will bear and right now the market is quite bad. Everyone is losing alot of money on their cars in depreciation. It's just the nature of the beast.

But are you really expecting to get what you paid for it? You know cars (and especially aftermarket accessories/modifications) are depreciating assets , right? Tesla's in particular have depreciated tremendously since Q4 last year.

Unfortunately, the market does not concern themselves with what you paid. The market cares about the current comparables. With the price drop and tax credit, the market has dramatically changed since your purchase. Also, while your car has only 3K miles on it, it is still deemed used.

As soon as you drive the car off the lot, you'll take an instant depreciation in the tune of 15 to 20%. The days off "making money" on Teslas are over.

Based on your asking price, I woiud just keep the car and enjoy if for a few years.
