Had my Roadster converted to Type 2 so maybe someone else could use these:

Tesla / Mennekes Type 2 charge cable. Very good condition and rarely used. 500 EUR

Original charger with EU socket. Used condition but works fine. 400 EUR

+ any shipping costs.

How long is the type 2 cable and what power (amps) is it rated for?

Live in Sweden so might be interested. But I also have an broken extra original charger I have had thaughts of converting to type 2 myself.

Hi. I'm currently on vacation but can measure length when I get back home. Think it's around 2 meters. Not sure about the amps but is is a original Roadster accessory. I can also see if I can find more info on the stickers that you can partly see on the picture.

Initial glance looks like nice work but... where is the latch to secure the Type 2 cable and prevent an accidental live disconnect?

a type 2 plug have the small cp pin short and this will switch of main contacts if you pull it before fase relase just like the slider on original aluminium plug do

You still have a live disconnect while the high-amperage contacts are sliding over each other, unlike the slide-switch that shuts down all charging before the contacts can move at all.
