Careful with those! I almost pulled the trigger on those but then read reviews that the blue rubber crosses on the bottom of the protector damages your car seat by leaving imprints on the seats.
The Britax has raised lips on the edges, which is handy if your kids spill any sort of liquid, but it does not have any protection for the back of your seats. It is also bulky, so it is harder to put two car seats side-by-side.
The Summer Infant does afford protection for both your seat and seatback, and is better if you're putting two carseats next to each other. While it does not have a lip to catch liquids, we just make sure we remove the car seats and wipe everything down after a spill, which we do with the Britax protector anyway, as the smell of dried milk is unpleasant.
I use them on my white seats. Have not had issues, and I inquired to another owner on here or Reddit who used them on their white seats and they reported no issues
