For those that have their cars, how does the whole delivery process work?

Thank you to all that responded and especially those that got into the paperwork side of things. I'm trying to handle the Florida State sales tax credit for tade ins on new car purchases. Knowing that Tesla can deliver the car's MSO and let me register the car and pay the state sales tax really helps. I'm now trying to dig up GeorgeB's email address to confirm a few details.

Thanks Again,
Bill

The delivery specialist or someone at Tesla HQ on the delivery team can likely answer your question too. I'd probably start there unless you think it needs immediate escalation up to the VP level.

I've been through the start up process on several ocasions. Tesla is doing an OUTSTANDING job given the magnitude of the task at hand. We will all be better off for their efforts.

DSM363,
I agree but my normal channels do not have the knowledge or simple are not responding. The non-response is likely due to DS overload and thus is understandable.

The matter itself does not rise to the VP level. George knows this and will forward it to someone that can answer the realitively simple questions posed. Although simple, the issues are time sensitive thus my need for a timely response.

Makes sense. Glad you were able to get your issue addressed. Best of luck. Won't be long before you'll get your new ride.

It depends on a few factors:

[*](Optional)Any due bill items will be shipped to you and/or retrofitted into your car by Tesla Service as they become available.

That should be everything. Let me know if I missed anything and I'll update the post!

I have had my car for almost 3 months now. Have you or anyone else gotten any of the due bill items? I am missing: floor mats, hpwc, parcel shelf, physical owners manual, winter tires/wheels etc. Are these automatically shipped when ready or do I have to remind them to send these items?

I would remind them. Send an e-mail to the ownership e-mail address asking what is on your due bill and if they could mail them.
