It is interesting to note that there is no subforum under each of Tesla's models to speak about defect, issues and costs to service the vehicles.
I too am very interested in the Model 3 (and did put a reservation deposit down) but am interested to find out now that some of the 2012 models have no more warranty or that extended warranty is not available for CPO or used Tesla's, what are the typical costs associated with repair jobs post-warranty period.
On my ICE vehicles (mainly Honda and Toyota), I have been buying extended warranties and I'm definitely going to pay up for one if I ever do proceed to purchasing a Model 3.
Now that the Koreans and Japanese (and Germans though they'll likely require a premium) are playing catch up, I wonder if Tesla quality will shoot up (not that it's that bad).
