Forgo the 2022.44.30 update for a chance at getting 2022.40 Beta for V11 FSD?

I have a 2023 MYLR that I took delivery of December 8th, and it shipped with v11.0 (2022.40.200). I enrolled for the FSD beta the day I got the car, and I've maintained a 90 safety rating over 260 km (although I'm not sure if any of this matters anymore, or if it needs to be over a thousand kilometers, or two weeks). I just got prompted for the 2022.44.30 update, but as I understand it, you can only get the beta for versions at or higher than what you currently have. If that's the case:

- should I forgo this 2022.44.30 update in hopes that I get pushed the 2022.44.x FSD beta?
- can I take this 2022.44.30 update and still get pushed the 2022.44.x FSD beta?
- does the fact that I've been prompted for the 2022.44.30 update mean that I won't be getting FSD beta for the 2022.40.x cycle?

How did you enroll in FSD beta just curious?

i would wait till next week, 2022.44.25.5 is the latest fsd as of now
It's the idea that the current FSD beta is less than 2022.44.25.5, and so the non beta takes precedence, and a higher FSD beta in the future would override it in my pushed update?

How did you enroll in FSD beta just curious?
Aside from paying the full price for it with my car order, I clicked "Request Full Self Driving Beta" on the Autopilot settings page and it enrolls you into the queue to get the FSD beta, but there is no indication on what the criteria are to get it, or timeline.

I too had 2022.40.200 when I got my 2023 Model Y several weeks ago. I also had requested the FSD Beta and paid for the subscription thinking FSD Beta was immediately available to everyone. This morning I was prompted to install 2022.40.30 and since I saw that 2022.44.25.5 was an FSD Beta and prior version to .30, I installed it thinking it was my Beta I requested. But it wasn’t. It appears it was only the holiday update. Am I screwed?

I am in the same boat, I wish they gave you some timeline. Not even sure how I'll know when I'm accepted if there'll be a software update (or some have mentioned getting in the car and the option was just there).

If you're waiting for FSD Beta, don't install any update that isn't an FSD Beta build. The app tells you which version is waiting to be installed, so all you have to do is google the version number to find out if it's FSD Beta. I did that just now when I saw that 2022.44.25.5 was waiting to be installed, and it was an FSD Beta (10.69.25) so I'm installing it.

2018 Model S. I had 2022.40.4.10 previously (FSD Beta 10.69.3.3), but I only got that a few days ago and that was my first FSD Beta build. I haven't even used it yet.

My wife's 2018 Model 3 has had 2022.36.20 (FSD Beta 10.69.3.1) for a while, and hasn't been updated yet.
