My wife has forgotten her phone but the car is at her workplace.

Is it possible I can start the car remotely via the app so she can drive the car back?

Will the car automatically shut off if she comes to a standstill?

You can, and no it shouldn't shut off when she stops, only when put into Park.

You'll need to co-ordinate times, when you press Start in the app she will need to put it into drive within 2 minutes. Then as per @phil4 she will be fine until it goes into Park.

How did she get it to work without a key ?

Others have answered.

But for some clarity - you can remote start as many times as you want except the car shouldn’t go into park mode. If in park mode you need to remote start again. Also the car need to be moved within 2minutes if remote starting.

Probably the coolest part of the car. Also, with Tessie, I can remotely unlock and start the car from my apple watch. So if I did lose the phone, as I've got cellular in the watch, I can still use it.

Also handy if I have someone in the car I don't want to see the PIN to drive.. Last resort, wife has the app too..
