What would be the point of Tesla auctioning it off without repairing it, if the new owner would simply be able to come back and have it repaired under warranty? My thought is that at the best, it has a warranty, but the current damage would be considered accidental and not covered..OR...it is being sold without any warranty at all...OR.. Worst case, it is actually a salvage vehicle, but that status is currently hidden.
