Found a LOT of Model 3's in a Tesla lot - Pictures inside

If the trucks are coming and going 24/7, there will be little build up of cars in the lot. They are probably switching back to domestic production right now, but they have been hauling most production directly to the dock for overseas shipping so far this year. Weeing how many cars are at the pier is a better measure of production.

The lot being consistently empty is not a measure of production being down, it can easily mean Tesla is finally getting their act together with shipping the cars out and few are being stored in the lot longer than a day or so.

Seen last Friday and Saturday from San Francisco. So lots of people can get a good look at that lot!
I only had my phone.

2/6/19 around 8:50am - lot looks half full, employee said that they are gearing up for the standard Model 3 production so things may have slowed there. Won’t be sold at $35K though initially - more like $40K with a lot of amenities removed (ie cheaper stereo system with smaller speakers, no charger included, etc) to make the car lighter to reach the 240 mile range with a smaller battery. The $35K car will come later -
That leak was pretty close, minus the gutting retail department to make the 35K car

Production volumes may be the same as a few weeks ago, but with most cars going into the domestic delivery system instead of onto ships the different pattern of delivery may cause more cars to pile up at the factory. A hefty chunk of the cars rolling off the line today are going to western delivery centers by truck rather than train, so the trucks loading are for long hauls instead of short jaunts to the ship pier or train yard in Richmond.
