48 car carriers, holy sugar. Though I suppose they probably need 100-125 car carriers a day now if they are between 6-7k Model 3sper week.
All the service centers on the west coast are getting truck loads of cars every day. Back in December somebody had a picture of a convoy of trucks loaded with Model 3s in the mountains of southern Oregon all headed north.
58 today? Wow, that's a lot of cars moving on the highways the next few days. I notice in today's pictures there appears to be a white Model S on the street in front of you in the first two pictures. Did one escape?
Would be great to see one of those ships unloading right hand drive cars in Australia. Oh dang am I gonna get yelled at for being off topic.
I was driving by last night (v3 baby) and earlier this week and it looks the same, just flip back a few weeks and revisit the old photos.
Just saw some overhead pics from the Shorty Airforce. It really looks like they finally have the lot organized and running smoothly.
What is the Shorty Airforce reporting about this organization? Do they have some kind of complaint? Must be no demand as Tesla is able to keep up with shipments without any difficulty...
They were doing their semi-monthly pics of the factory. They might make mountains out of mole hills (ant hills even) but they do take some nice pics.

Awesome! I think the SAF is missing some possibly good news. They’re wondering where the cars are going and noting the extra carriers in the back lot, where there’s no Y tent. Maybe these are the carriers Tesla was going to build, or more likely intermodal carriers for mid markets where roro won’t scale right. A combined thousand cars a week for Australia and then South Korea, Thailand, Japan etc, and maybe some train shipments to the east coast. I zoomed into n and you can see car ramps on some of the containers. Even they’re saying the plant is running hot, so hopefully they’re on track for closer to 110,000 then 105,000 produced. Q3 2018 is a tough comparison quarter so they really need great numbers to match YOY. QoQ should be a solid beat. Thanks for the link.
Thanks for that...I went down that rabbit hole for a little bit! I guess we probably seem crazy to them for obsessing about deliveries and the success that Tesla has shown, but wow, it's pretty amazing the theories they come up with.
In what used to be a large Toyota dealership, the now Tesla dealership near me has cars stacked up like cord wood waiting for buyers.
