Maybe it's time for some real discounts anyone heard or read anything. I am running my 2016 P90D Signature red Model X. Bought used from EVCPO. waiting for the pickup.
They constantly have hundreds of cars there, vehicles consuming 100% of available parking at a large former Toyota dealership, and every time I drive by, it's always the same. I don't believe it's cars waiting for repairs (very bad sign) or delivery, rather I suspect that they are cars looking for a buyer.
10/16/19 around 10:30am - lot isn’t very full but lots of carriers in and out so I guess they’ve managed the logistics
How about the 3's coming out of China, Giga 3, they have a blue and white one moving around now. tractor trailers filling up all the doors. It would kinda hard to do anything but droan footage there. IS there any droan footage of Fremont lately? what is happening with the new building there?
According to the shorty airforce they are all going to the railyard. I'm assuming they are heading to philly? Guess Elon made nice with Buffet.
Interesting to see so many covered carriers. wonder when you'll catch some of the Ys moving through the lot
I can take another factory tour, but they make me sign NDA so I can't report anything interesting. Read that Model Y production line being installed in Fremont factory and deliveries are supposed to begin in Summer, 2020. We should learn more about it in the 2020 Q1 investor letter and Elon's conference call. OT: I wonder what resale will be Q3-Q4 next year for my 2018 Model 3 Dual Motor with about 35-40K miles by then? I've pre-ordered a Y Dual Motor w/ AP. If I get the $2K AP 3.0 with local AP beforehand I'm ready to pull the trigger on the Y, and will just add my 3 to Turo and later Tesla Network instead of selling it to a private party... The Y will just be a placeholder until #Cybertruck tri-motor!!
Driving down I80 yesterday from Tahoe to SF, must have seen 5 car carriers of Teslas headed East. Clearing out inventory for the end of the year.
Thanks for the pics ! Oddly enough, I use to purchase laboratory equipment from ThermoFisher Scientific, which is shown in your pics ..
They are probably making pre-production test cars now, but none of them would be in the regular production lot. Those are being made one by one in a small shop somewhere.
It looks like Tesla is validating component made by suppliers at this point, but I suspect that a Model Y production line is more or less completed to start production soon. Tesla Permit Application Hints at New Fremont Assembly Line
