Roadster, yes, Northern Engraving is definitely still in business. They created the blank plaques for Tesla. Tesla etched the numbering and gave them to original Founders' and Signature 100 owners after the cars were delivered.

I spent an embarrassing amount of time last night trying to track down the font. Got close, but nothing perfect. That 'f' and '1' are quite odd. I believe the numbers and letters are not of the same font. However, I also came to the realization that you don't actually need to know the font...only gather enough pictures of the other plaques to get the numbers you want. A little image manipulation magic and you can give the engraver a direct image of what to print, rather than finding the font itself. For example:
