Free 4th of July Charging

I just saw this message in my inbox and does anyone know where and which chargers will be free. I searched in my UI for superchargers and it still shows regular rates? Is it safe to hold this statement true during those times and hope we won't be charged?

BTW this special event is another perk/reason I enjoy my car while gas prices JUST went up in CA.

Hmmm, we already get free supercharging on one of our cars. Are you saying this is some sort of event where anyone with a Tesla will get free supercharging on that day ?

I think it's more of a way to get people that pay for supercharging to avoid the superchargers between 12pm and 9pm on a busy day.

Dang I totally missed it. Looks like it favors SoCAL (I am in Norcal). Oh well.

Along with encouraging people to bypass heavily used superchargers and instead utilize less heavily used superchargers.
