Free Premium Internet Connectivity (2 years or 1 year)?

Last year when they announced details on the Model 3 - it was mentioned that the premium internet connectivity for folks purchasing premium package would be complimentary for 2 years. Are there confirmed reports (apart from Electrek) stating that the complimentary premium internet would only be a year? It seems to conflict with what Tesla initially announced. Maybe they decided to downgrade from 2 year to 1 year.

By now, consumers should understand that Tesla has changed prices without notice.

What is your source that Tesla said connectivity would be free for two years? That might have been a rumor or conjecture. The Model 3 owners manual actually says free for four years, and if the reports are true then Tesla has removed the four year limit for existing owners, but will have one year limit for new owners going forward.

Order before July 1 then free for life. Order July 1 and after, then free for 1st year then supposedly $100/yr afterwards
