I would happily pocket the usual $1,000 delivery charge to have the car self-deliver in exchange for some miles on the odometer when it arrives (especially with EVs life expectancy over 500,000 miles). I guess if the delivery truck is FSD then the delivery charge could be a lot less anyway. I’m expecting the self-charging snake will have to be in the story too for the remote customers.

Not sure if they would be able to waive the 'Destination fee' unless the law gets updated.

Part of the European delivery of my Mercedes was 7% off and no destination fee. I dropped it off in Amsterdam and picked it up 6 weeks later at the local dealer with no destination fee. My guess is it is imported as a used car so no tariff and no requirement for a destination fee.
