Fremont Y’s coming with wood trim on doors?

I just saw a reddit post of someone who picked up his Fremont made MYP and it came with wood trim on the doors. Seems like they’re finally rolling it out to Fremont.

His VIN was F517

I definitely do not want the new door panels on the white interior. It removes the white leather in the front AND back doors.

Damn… too bad. I really wanted all that white in there. One of the main reasons I chose to pay for it.. Lol. Whatever.

Austin? Or Fremont. It seems you get new door panels on Fremont build and Cargocover on Austin. Why can't we have both

I have a F516 coming in as early as Wed next week. I have the white interior and it BEST NOT have my dad's woodgrain station wagon trim inside.

The white interior won’t have any wood grain, it’ll be white like the picture

I am so happy. Didn’t get a VIN yet so I assume I’m almost guaranteed to get this on my MYP in the next 4-5 weeks.

I’m looking forward to the new paneladds more of a premium wrap around finish from door,dash,door. Was disappointed when the Y didn’t have it. Sill no vin for my MYP so hopefully I’ll receive the addition.

I'd lean towards the old door. I like the white door panels on the old style, but with these new doors I'm thinking it's going to come with a few more improvements elsewhere like the more cushioned interior body panels vs the plastic. Also I guess folks will have more to wrap or replace now.

Only rattle issues I've had in my 2 model Ys have come from the rear near the lift gate. I wonder if the new panels in the back might fix those.
