Your visibility coming out of the spot is so much better when you can pull straight out, instead of having to reverse out.

That part is debatable. The wide-angle camera would make it easier to back out in many circumstances, especially if you are parked next to larger vehicles.

No doubt, backing in is the best solution, but if I’m in a big hurry, pulling straight in is definitely faster.

I’m hoping the new scrape guards will protect me in those instances.

BTW, cost me $300 for SLIPLO scrape guard on bottom of front bumper lip. Very glad I got it.
