Mine is a 2017you haven’t mentioned the year ? If it’s raven 2019 and newer make sure the Clevis mount is past the washer ..look up service procedure under half shaft replacement
My 2020 i moved the washer haven't had a problem since and i drive on freeway on normal ride height..but i also adjusted the ride height with toolbox 3
Make sure you replace the oil seal, star washers and make sure the halfshaft s all the way in with a click check all suspensions bolts make sure there tight at std height when car is loaded .it’s a really simple job if you have done a legacy car ..it’s a lot cleaner to work on ..I would get a Jack stand adapter for the Jack I forgot the part numberMine is a 2017

Are you serous - on out of warranty vehicles ? I can have both done w the Corvus for $350???Tesla has a TSB # SB21-39-001 out to replace the front halfshafts and clevis for $350...I was gonna do it myself but this is cheaper than me buying the parts alone. I got my halfshafts, clevis and eMMC upgrade done ess than a month ago.
Yup, I've got a '17 w/ 116k currently and had them done like a month ago.Are you serous - on out of warranty vehicles ? I can have both done w the Corvus for $350???

I know but at that price its not very bad for 2 the half shafts alone are like $150 so $200 in labor and I assume some kind of warranty is not bad at allThe TSB isn't free. They aren't going to give you a hard time because you'll be paying.

Is your car under warranty? I ask this because the line I was fed is that the 350$ price is only for cars with warranty.so the TSB for $350 is a no brainer for sure

Nope, I just posted this picture with my service request and they confirmed. I also spoke to the techs there and they said they haven't heard anything about this expiring either.Clevis
