Front headlight not working

Happened to our 22 m3lr about two weeks after delivery. Another couple weeks for part to coMe in.

So what

The lighting package is fantastic on these lr models

The problem is that the whole unit has to be replaced if any part of it fails.

Confirmed the entire unit has to be replaced when this happens and cheap it is not. Mine was fixed under warranty and there was anotherM3 there for his second replacement. First the left went out shortly after delivery 1 year ago and then the right went out recently. Hope this does not happen out of warranty and that it was just a bad batch. Check your headlights is all I can say before warranty expires. expect to shell out at least $1,200 a piece if not.

Finally decided to get rid of Tesla as it’s not worth it. I spent 10k in repairs in last 6 months and my model X has lost 30k in value in last 6 months.

$3000+ (CAD) for a single headlight assy is stupid expensive, which still translates to over $2200 USD.

I'm surprised headlight thefts aren't a thing.
