Thanks for confirming this. I ordered the extra long yesterday as I was too impatient to wait for someone to measure. I chose the size after watching Evannex's installation video for The Law. It looked to me to be at least 3 inches and the mount could extend a bit into the intake vent if need be.

THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS TO FRONT PLATE!
NO FRONT LICENSE IN SOUTH DAKOTA IF..................
I asked at the DOT and IF I was willing to pay an extra $25 and if i promised to only drive 6000 miles I get a special "REAR ONLY" license plate.I'm guessing it's an agriculture state deal.
SO ASK OR GOOGLE YOUR OWN STATE!!

Measuring the grill & designing something around it certainly had its challenges. It's not really "flat" on the edge. IMG_9267.jpg

This might have already been asked but there is no interference with the louver operation, right?

Also, can you provide a pic of a complete side angle? I'm trying to see how much clearance there is between the plate frame and the bumper. Reason for my concern is if something strikes the plate, will the plate frame damage the bumper from impact. Snow, road debris, etc.

There's no interference with the internal louver operation. I'm actually working on an installation video coming soon, thanks

    Thanks.

Do you have a pic at the ready of the side profile? Just want to know if this will work for me.

None of those images provide the angle I'm requesting.

I'm looking for a straight across shot from the side of the mount so you can see the distance between it and the bumper.

I think this 2nd option isn't much different than the stock OEM mount?

I thought the stock mount used the tape to adhere to the nose of the car. This looks like it uses the tape to adhere to the air dam.

Yes, and it sits much lower staying out of the way of the nose.

Tony, I just ordered your frame. When are you going to have the instructions video up?

@Super Gizmo, thank you for your support! Video should be up next week. Installation should be very simple about 10 minutes. The entire bracket is already assembled, ready to go.
