Front Registration Plate (quick release or static plate) UK

Hi all

I’m thinking about changing my standard front registration plate to a static plate. Apparently they are illegal due to not displaying the BSAU code which is the postcode of the manufacturer of the plate I believe.

My car has standard plates with the BSAU code blocked off by the Tesla bracket frame. Now that comes standard on delivery from Tesla. Is that illegal to have it covered ?

Thinking of maybe a quick release bracket or a static plate.

Any ideas ? Solutions ?

I believe using magnets would be a big no with Tesla
