Front Speaker adaptor rings 4" to 5-1/4"

Cross posting from the Lotus Forum since I believe people will find this useful. These are necessary if you want to install larger 5 1/4" speakers up front, such as Focal, on the Roadster. He's made some more so they're available:

You'll need to cut the original speaker hole to accommodate the larger speaker. The first four pics are pulled from the Lotus Forum, the last two are from the Tesla Forum. I posted this thread so people know there're options. I was thinking of moving to 5 1/4" front and back, but I don't like that rise/lip that's created with the front speakers.

On a Tesla, speaker has a rise to it:

And the 5 1/4 mounted in the rear. (Don't know if you need the bracket there):

My plan is to leave the front speakers alone, add tweeters to the doors, and upgrade the rears to 5 1/4". Seems to me that with all the ambient noise when the top is off, the rear speakers are much easier to hear anyway.

Can we hear from someone who has upgraded the rears to larger speakers? Was going to get this package: Alpine Spr-50c 5.25-Inch Component Speaker System

Wondering if I'll need adapters, risers, or to cut deeper into the housing.
