Frozen video in backup camera

This morning I backed into another car because of frozen video and guidelines in the backup camera, there was definitely something going on w/ the computer because it took many times longer to start before this happened.

I wonder if this is a well known issue and I'm just an unlucky victim of some weird coincidence.

Also, someone else had the same thing happen today -- Reversing sensor display frozen for 10 seconds; nearly damaged the car

The first photo most likely shows the other car (the one CME backed into).

Yes, the first picture was the Volvo I backed into, it shows far more damage than my S.

Well, it is a known issue now.
Just like AP, these features are driver assist and you should never totally rely on them.
Time to trade in that Volvo for an X.
