Frunk Mats

Hey all,

Just took delivery of new Model 3!!! Love it! Noticed the Frunk has no carpet, just bare plastic. If i buy a all weather liner from tesla or whomever will it need to have the $35 carpet mat underneath it to stay affixed?

I bought a $10 generic Weather Tech trunk mat and then, using my carpet frunk mat as a template, cut up the Weather Tech to match the specs. Works great and only cost $10.

BTW, my M3 came with the carpet frunk mat. You may want to check with Tesla to see if your car should have come with at least the carpet frunk mat. Tesla may just give you one.

The carpet Frunk mats are no longer included since (I believe) August 10th. I thought mine was missing when I took delivery a week ago and asked about that.

Thanks All! I spoke with my sales person and they said, you can buy them, so no freebies ?! Im just going to get the all weather liner since it will stay in. Thanks for the info everyone!

Hmm I picked up my car at end of August and it had one. They are kinda crappy like all the mats though so you really arent missing much.
