Interesting. Wasn't this supposed to be a cooler of some kind though? Say it is non-insulated.

Don't recall it being planned to be insulated. Wouldn't it make more sense to to have the rear one be insulated as the frunk isn't temp controlled in any way. Wouldn't survive in the heat even with insulation.

This I might actually buy. That space is great for storing stuff you don't need often, but a PITA for stuff you want to get to frequently. This case fits in that spot, has an easy to grab handle. I keep my tire repair kit in that space, would probably add my tire chains, a blanket, a first aid kit, whatever else I could cram into that organizer but would rarely need. That keeps it from flying around and leaves the main frunk space accessible.

    I agree with EV...

I'm surprised that it doesn't have hooks on it to hold it into the space (would only need 2 at the top) -- that way you only need this instead of the cargo net...

Great points about the hooks. I also find it curious that the URL has cooler at the end, but the description says non-insulated. Now I'm wondering if the frunk net I purchased was wasted $. Fortunately the frunk net wasn't too costly.

Correction: The URL was changed to frunk-box from frunk-cooler, so my original comment about cooler no longer applies.

I won't be purchasing this one. My B.O.B. stroller is already occupying the frunk! :)

I will be purchasing one as well. It fits the space perfect and will hold all the miscellaneous stuff I need to carry. Perfect place for the tire kit, tool set, etc.

They go out of their way to say it's NOT a cooler. Here is what is listed on the product page:

Note: Product is not water-proof and does not provide sealed insulation from temperature. Tesla does not recommend using the product as a cooler or as a secure container for items containing fluids.

But then you have to separately remove the net to get to the bag... Mite as well have the hooks incorporated into the bag...

It looks like it will fit a moderately sized cooler inside it though. You can pack the cooler in there and then put other stuff like blankets, plates, etc. around it.

Page is gone now...Glad the OP saved the clips. I wonder why it disappeared - perhaps wasn't ready to be announced yet. Will probably be available by next year, given how out of stock or delayed everything else is.

Thirty bucks at Michael's - and you don't have to open the top to get at what's in it. It's black, of course, like the carpet - the light was funny.

How much do you think theirs will cost (!!!)?

Perfect fit and I don't get stuck with Tesla's exorbitant shipping costs or sales tax.

Price is posted now - $125. Way overpriced to me, but then again a lot of the accessories on the site are. I would have considered it at $40-50.
