Vossen originally reserved this spoke design for their forged series, which starts at around $8,000, but due to high demand, it's now available in the hybrid forged series!

There's a graphite finish to be released, but as of right now we have tinted gloss black.

The wheels are so new, they aren't even released yet on the site so no pictures yet. You would potentially be the first Model X to have them.

What's the weight for these rims?

The rear wheel weighs in at 35 lbs, so being the front wheel is a little narrower, it'll be less than that. Lighter than documented 22" turbine wheels.

The black model s in the initial thread is fitted with Vossen's forged HC-1 wheels. It's a different wheel than the HF-1, but the spoke design is very similar as the HF-1 was created with the HC-1 design in mind. I posted those up to show what that design would look like on a Model S, since the HF-1 aren't even released yet. That finish is only available for Vossen's forged lineup.

I will definitely keep that in mind - I'm sure she'll appreciate that.

Funny but true. I showed her these and she said "They look just like the rims you have now but black". FYI - I have the OEM 5 spoke.

However, I'm not sure I can do 22 with out roads - probably 19" or 20".

A lot our clients say the same about our roads, but once they go 22's on their S, they never want to go back.

Hi EVS,

What tires are you running with the 22 inch rims for the Tesla Model S? I tried putting some 22inch rims of my own and was told that I couldn't do to the load on the wheels.
