Looking for a new home for my 85D. Photos are at iCloud Photo Sharing. Car is located in Washington DC.

The basics:
* 2015 Tesla Model S 85D
* 82,730 miles - will climb slightly
* I am the third owner. I purchased it in March 2020 with 77,000 miles. The previous owner, bought it from Tesla in May of 2019.
* HV Battery and drive unit warranty until 3/25/2023, unlimited miles

Equipment and specifications:
* Pacific Blue exterior, tan interior, matte obeche wood trim
* Matching yacht floor
* 19” Slipstream wheels (I replaced the original 21” turbines)
* Free unlimited supercharging - SC01 code, will transfer to the next owner
* Free premium connectivity, will transfer to the next owner
* Tech Package including Autopilot with Convenience Features (“Highway Autopilot” / AP1)
* Premium Upgrades Package
* Smart Air Suspension
* Ultra-HiFi Sound
* Panoramic (opening) sunroof
* SubZero Weather Package (heated seats, steering wheel, wipers, washers)
* Twin (80A) chargers
* MCU2 ‘Infotainment Upgrade’ with FM Radio installed April 2021
* Gen2 mobile connector with 110v adapter
* Tesla floor mats

Included aftermarket accessories:
* TeslaOffer electric frunk (original struts included in sale)
* IRO dashcam
* Evannex center console
* Evannex coat hooks
* Evannex glovebox door bumper
* Abstract Ocean parcel shelf lift kit
* IdeaFab CANBUS - OBDII cable
* Folding sunshades for front and rear roof glass
* Cubby drawer
* Oedro hard floor mats (Weathertech-stylee)

Condition:
* Clean Carfax, no accidents.
* I would describe both exterior and interior as ‘very good’. There are some small imperfections, but the car is great shape for its age and mileage.
* Less than 1.5% battery degradation; Tesla app shows 266 miles of range at 100%
* Tires are Michelin MXV4 Energy with less than 3,000 miles on them. Combined with the switch to 19” wheels, these have improved efficiency by a calculated 16%
* Sunroof seal replaced August 2021
* 12v battery replaced November 2021
* Previous owner told me he had the air suspension replaced under warranty, but I have no documentary proof of this

Car currently has an XCare warranty until 05/20/2024 or 110,049 miles. A new warranty for 2 years / 114,000 miles would cost $3,364 from XCare; I will transfer the remainder of my warranty to the buyer for an additional $3,000.

Pricewise I’m thinking $45k would be fair on both sides for a quick, easy sale. This takes into account the MCU2 + radio upgrade, the pretty much new tires and of course the free supercharging. Feel free to comment, discuss, troll, flame - it all feeds the algorithm. Will add more photos in the next couple of days.

What wh/mile are you getting on average? Is your mileage calculation on rated or ideal? I'm surprised that SC01 transferred over to you, I read that a CPO from Tesla meant only the 2nd owner continued to get the free supercharging, yet you're the 3rd and still have it.

Hi there

According to Teslamate, Wh/mile on a long drive varies from around 280 to 320, depending on speed, conditions, elevation and driving style.

Range is Rated; there is no ‘Ideal’ range setting on MCU2. (and 266 miles ‘ideal’ on an 85D would be pretty poor :D )

This car was bought from Tesla in May 2019, prior to the changes in supercharging for pre-owned cars that happened in August 2019. The free supercharging will continue to transfer to subsequent owners.

Thanks for your interest :)
