Hi Evil Twin,

I doubt my feedback will make a difference, but I wouldn't give so much value to the V1 vs V2 conversation. I have a 09/2015 P90D with a V1 battery pack and I'm still getting 232 miles at 90%. That's on a vehicle that's been in service for for two+ years and has over 30k miles on the odometer. I've also found that driving style and outside temperature make a HUGE difference in range - much more than a few miles of battery degradation. Good luck with the search!

Hi James:

The V1 issue isn't limited to a possible degradation issue. I found a graph of performance data in one of the other forums that compared power output (apologies for not having the link handy).

The V1 battery is 1500 amps. The V2 and V3 batteries are 1600 amps.

Max. kW reported from V1 is about 460. Max V2 reported around 490kw. Max V3 reported is around 510kW. I looked at an online calculator that converted kW to HP and it equates to more than 60 hp, which is significant.

I live in Los Angeles, so the temperature isn't much of a variable for me.
