I'm interested! I'm pretty DIY, but, I need more technical directions for this one too. My understanding is this is plug n play once I remove the trim pieces hiding the wiring; and in order for me to get usb-c, I need to order the parts directly from tesla?

I too am interested. There are probably better tools, but I propose that all who are interested and willing to buy these should like @chopps 's post in order to get an idea of the numbers. If the numbers are favorable, @chopps can make a batch. Just a thought, and I'll start by liking the post.

rear vent housing was 100+tax as of December 2021. not sure if they raised prices since they raised car prices by what seems like 10k since then lol.

anywho, i see there's 6 likes to my other post. i just ordered enough parts to make another 22 adapters and i hope it will be the last time but.. please understand it takes freaking forever to play with these tiny wires and crimp them correctly, test them and get them packed for shipping. parts are also hard to come by right now it seems so i've technically ordered enough to potentially make 50 adapters eventually. minimum order was 220 for one of the pins required.

about a month. you put in the service request in your app for parts and they'll send you a quote. once you accept the quote they will order it and ship to your service center you picked.
