I did a recent trade in quote and Attaching the Trade-In quote that I received from Tesla.
The asking price from me is fair enough if it doesn't sell, no issues i'll trade-in.
In Texas like many other states we get 6.25% tax break on new car which equates to 2575$

Guys who are PM'ing me and asking like 40K it just beats me on why would I be selling it for that price when the trade-in quote that I received from them is 41,200 and I get that 6.25% on the next car that i'll buy (Model Y) from them.

I would just be careful of that " Net trade-in credit* " (note asterisk), it might represent what they are giving you *after* adding on the $2575 tax credit...

Correct. We were trading in the Mrs X3 M40i on her new MX but a BMW dealer I work closely with offered better than net plus tax credit so we went with that to keep things less messy.
