Same config brand new is $71,990 plus $1,200 delivery. So roughly $4,000 depreciation for 1 year and nearly 10,000 miles? Wait time on a new MYP is 3-6 weeks so not too bad either.

Depending on what a final sales price is a person could save $$6k plus and have no wait time.

Yes but what stops Tesla from removing the FSD once it changes hands to a new owner? That happened to a friend who had both AB and FSD removed once it was added to his account. The original owner paid for it, but Tesla reached in and removed it later. Seems like this is not an isolated incident.

That topic is making its rounds on the internet however when I called Tesla directly they said that only happens if Tesla takes ownership of the car again (ie trade to Tesla).

That wont happen in a private party sale. That only happens when the person buys a used tesla from a third party lot, and previous to that the car was traded into tesla, who sent it to auction.

TL ; DR. buying it directly from a person who has FSD, it will stay with the car. Buying it from a third party dealer, you take your chances. If someone wants FSD guaranteed on a used tesla, they need to either buy it from tesla, or directly from the first owner who can prove they bought it.

Now, that doesnt have anything to do with the asking price on this particular used tesla.
