I bought this for a project that I decided not to do. I have been watching for one of these for years till I finally found one. Very rare item. I bought it from a electronics recycler.

It is in very good condition.
It is rated at 120kw
$190 plus shipping.

Hi, interesting score from the recycler, but I am curious on what project would need this sans charging equipment?
I was going to make a supercharging extension cord. I know people will say I am crazy. They said the same thing when I said I was going to make a chademo extension cord. But I did it and it works. Ive used it with my Rav4 EV. I dont own a chademo adatper for my X so Ive never tried the chademo ext with the X. I assume it would also work. Its just simple electrical connections. As long as you test the wires and connect them correctly I see no reason why the Tesla extension cord wouldnt work too.

People get really afraid of electricity. Be safe, use protection, use the correct wire sizes, triple check your connections and you aren't going to kill yourself or break anything.

Here is my Chademo extension cord.

Apologies for reviving an old thread, but why did you decide not to make the cord? I occasionally tow a small trailer on road trips and have often contemplated how difficult this would be since you have to detach the trailer at most Superchargers.
