FSD Beta 10.10 Release Notes

Interesting- Did you already have 10.10? (I'm on 10.10 MSP). Every previous time I've gotten the update very early, but 10.10.2 still has not come through? I'm wondering if they are pushing it first to folks who don't already have the rolling stop fix? Just a thought?

That would make sense. My car had 10.8.1, installed 1/12/22.

Looks like another batch of 10.10.2 is getting pushed out (looking at teslafi).

Hooray, I'm in that batch (coming from 10.9).

Looks like they went from 20% to 50% with the new batch. Unless there are more to come - I'm assuming that we are seeing all of the new ones, but it's possible that it's still growing.

Teslafi now shows about 1220 (vs 512 earlier).

Same - still on 10.8.1, no update. They're definitely going further on the first day with this one than the previous updates though. Here's hoping they don't leave some of us behind.....

Winter storm here last night: Rain turned to freezing rain, then to ice, then to snow. This is not the day that I want to try out the new software. I haven't even cleared my driveway yet. But tomorrow I have to drive about 150 miles, about 60/40 freeway and non-freeway, so I'll get my chance.

You’ll never know how they do things-I have 2021.44.30.15 on my MSP, but no 2021.44.30.21 yet? Oh well, at least the Margarita Maker works

First 10.10.2 impressions:

Nighttime drive.

Right off the bat the car tried to swerve into the left lane on a residential road. A new record for me for shortest time to first disconnect - 2 seconds.

Then, when its first traffic light gave me a green arrow, I heard the car release the brakes, but just sat there. After a few seconds, gave it some accelerator to get it through the intersection.

Coming up to stopped traffic going 50 mph, the car braked hard way too soon.

At another intersection, as the car was clearing the intersection at 50 mph, the light turned yellow and the car braked hard briefly. After that, it did not want to speed. Even after pusing the speed up with the accelerator, the car would drop speed to 35 mph. After doing this twice, I cancelled FSD and reengaged. It worked correctly afterward.

Very frustrating for a simple drive that had one left turn followed by 5 miles of straight driving.

I'm hoping tomorrow will be better. I'll probably do a reboot and camera calibration for good measure. I'm coming off 10.10.1 and so fat this has been a digression for me. Spouse Approval Factor was very low.

Does anybody know what FSD beta uses to identify emergency vehicles? Is it flashing lights? I can't imagine whether it's also markings such a labels and license plates.
