FSD Beta 10.6.1

TeslaFi shows as of today, FSD Beta 10.6 appears to have only gone out to 392 TeslaFi users starting 12-05-21.
This equates to about 4,300 beta testers on 10.6 with 4% of installs pending. All came from 10.5 (no new invitations).
1,515 TeslaFi users or approximately 16,600 beta testers are still on FSD 10.5 who may go directly to 10.6.1.

The handful of times I opened my app to wake up the car and find there was a new update available to download have really reinforced this behavior for me lol

I use numbers from Teslascope and provide a few estimates, but my high-end estimate of ~20k current FSD Beta population is close to K5TRX's estimate of 21k. Main difference I believe is I adjust for an initial FSD (Private) Beta population size, which from personal employee anecdotes indicates one of their perks was to get FSD and seem less likely to use 3rd party tracking apps.

Yea, one can dream though, FSD beta legit just overlays a firmware so I can’t imagine it would be that big of a deal if they overlaid 10.6.1 over 2021.40.x. But you’re probably right, I can see it be 2021.36.8.10 or 2021.36.9

Just curious. I am on 10.5 and still no update to 10.6 or 10.6.1. Is there something I need to do different from before? I usually get the downloads immediately.

10.6 was pulled. Don't think anyone outside of employees has 10.6.1 yet as of this posting.

Not that I've heard. I think that even the internal beta team are still waiting for it.
