FSD for 3k after purchase

Enhanced Autopilot is no longer available. Autopilot is now basically the lane keep with stop and go (Maybe only on highways). FSD now has the Navigate on Autopilot, Autopark and Summon features.

That is the regular after-delivery price for the new AP (and $7k for FSD).

I wonder when they say FSD now with these changes, if they are just meaning features of FSD but not actually taking it to true full self driving and you'll need a newer model down the road to get true full self driving capability.

Naah... there's examples both ways- waiting cost MR buyers $1000 last year for example. It cost some AWD buyers 1-2k too.
Right now if your account shows FSD for 3k, which is the lowest price ever offered post sale it's pretty unlikely waiting will get you anything better.
I bit. Once HW3.0 was announced I regretted not buying FSD at the time of purchase for $3K. So, now that I was offered another shot for FSD for $3K again, well, one credit card charge later, my car now has FSD
I did the same. No mention of HW upgrade anymore but we'll see

He said "a few days." It was 7k yesterday. It is $3k today. I'm guessing the reduction is the result of that meeting.
I just purchased it. I can't imagine it is going to go lower. The combined price of EAP + FSD is now at at the price new customers are paying.
How long after delivery did you get FSD for 4K? I think EAP is worth every penny and I use it in every drive. Detecting stop signs and red light would be huge IMO and worth the 4K upgrade and I hope they honor what we were told when we took delivery. I would not be happy if they make us pay 5K.
Please elaborate ok how you got the FSD for 4K

I think they removed that because all cars will come with that hardware now (correct?), so as not to confuse new owners.
You can't read road signs without that upgrade, so any new feature that requires that needs that computer.
I bought it because I can't see it ever being cheaper than $3K, and I don't want to be on this new weird EAP island they have created. I suspect EAP may be frozen at this point, nothing new, nothing removed. Improvements for sure, but the focus appears to be the non-EAP parts of FSD plus other random items like Sentry.
Tesla has zero incentive to give EAP owners any new features, as EAP (for purchase) no longer exists.

Exactly. Plus we know that our HW must be upgraded! These new cars will soon be coming with AP3.0 (if not already)
it's $3k right now - at least for model 3 owners. I bought it today as did others
