FSD FW stuck at V10.5

Hello all,

I've been in FSD beta for a long time now (1st roll out to 99's), but my M3 FSD FW has been stuck at V10.5. Any ideas on any way to prompt it to upgrade?

I'm kind of wondering if my disabling FSD in the car for about a week when V10.6 pushed has something to do with it. Its been re-enabled for ~4 days now. I've done a soft reboot. Scratching my head here...

V10.7/8 I very very much want with hopefully improvements to phantom braking. Since going from radar AP to vision AP, it pi$$es me off so bad to the point of just not using even plain AP

hmm ok. Thought it was just me Misery (with phantom braking) loves company apparently. My wife's MS w/ AP1 does so much better even...

Seems like beta FSD folks are on a different fork and don't get the regular updates. Could be wrong

Same here - got 10.5 on 11/23/21 and no updates since. (2021.36.8.8)
Curious to see others on 10.61 and now even mention of 10.8.

I'm on 10.6.1 (2019 MX), you're not missing much. I think 10.8 is a better update to get anyway...

yeah. I believe Elon said 10.8 and Holiday update are the same for FSD beta testers.

holiday updates are usually pushed to every single vehicle. Heres hoping tomorrow's planned FSD 10.8/Holiday update stays true and we all get it in a timely manner, especially those of us stuck on 10.5

I wish we knew if there was even a point on still testing 10.5 and submitting footage; if they're using it in some way still, or if it's getting tossed into the trash since we're almost on 10.8

ill keep spamming them with 10.5 snapshots until they give me 10.8

I’m still on 10.5 but I’ve basically stopped using it at all. The constant phandom braking is beyond annoying…. Hopefully a future release will will be better.

These are probably people who didn't want to update to 10.5 when it first became available but now feel they have to be on the latest available for their configuration in order to get Holiday/10.8.

About 1/3 of the beta testers are on 10.5. I'm certain it's not accidental. For whatever reason (bugs, A/B testing), they stopped pushing 10.6.1 partway through the deployment. We will all be on 10.8 soon enough. There is nothing to indicate that anyone is "stuck" on this version.
